The Montessori Event 2025

Starwood Academy of Frisco made a remarkable impact at The Montessori Event 2025, held in Denver, Colorado, where 18 of our dedicated team members immersed themselves in a weekend of inspiration, learning, and collaboration with Montessori educators from around the world.

This annual event, hosted by the American Montessori Society, is the premier gathering for Montessori professionals, offering a wealth of workshops, keynote addresses, and networking opportunities. Starwood was honored to have two of our own, Ms. Hanks and Ms. Rao, take center stage as featured presenters. Ms. Rao led an engaging workshop, sharing her expertise with fellow educators, while our esteemed Head of School, Ms. Hanks, delivered a deeply moving Montessori Voices keynote, reflecting on her journey of leadership and the enduring impact of Montessori education. Her words resonated with educators far and wide, reinforcing the profound and lasting effects of the Montessori philosophy on students, families, and communities.

Beyond presenting, our team took full advantage of the opportunity to attend insightful sessions, exchange ideas with fellow Montessorians, and gain fresh perspectives that will enrich our work at Starwood. The energy, passion, and dedication to Montessori education were palpable throughout the conference, leaving our team inspired and eager to bring new ideas and innovations back to our classrooms.
