Announcing the 2025-26 Student Council

Starwood Academy is proud to introduce our 2025–26 Student Council! These student leaders will represent the voice of their peers and bring fresh ideas to our school community. From leading assemblies to organizing service projects, they will have the opportunity to strengthen their leadership, advocacy, and teamwork skills throughout the year.

This year’s council brings together students who are eager to listen, collaborate, and serve their classmates. Each candidate shared their vision with passion during campaign speeches, offering a glimpse of the commitment they bring to their new roles.

President: Rishna M.
With over a decade at Starwood, Rishna brings both experience and heart to her role as Student Council President. Having served as Treasurer last year, she already has hands-on knowledge of planning events and engaging with the school community. In her campaign speech, Rishna promised to be “a leader who listens,” encouraging her peers to share ideas on everything from Spirit Days to new initiatives that make Starwood even stronger.

Vice President: Mila S.

Mila, who previously served as Vice President, returns with energy and enthusiasm for her second term. In her speech, she promised to speak with clarity at assemblies, listen closely to student voices, and set a positive example for the school. She reminded her classmates that being part of Student Council is both a responsibility and a privilege, and encouraged others to consider running for office in the future.

Treasurer: Olivia V.
Olivia’s campaign highlighted her practical experience with money management, including her time working in StarMart. She emphasized that the Treasurer’s role is about more than numbers—it’s about helping the school community reach its goals, from middle school trips to special projects. Olivia pledged to handle finances wisely while keeping an open ear to the ideas of her classmates.

Secretary: Quinn H.
Quinn approached the race for Secretary with humor and honesty, sharing her enthusiasm for note-taking and organization. With a focus on listening and ensuring student voices are heard, she promised to bring focus and attention to detail to the council’s meetings.

At Starwood, leadership is about listening, working together, and creating opportunities that bring the community closer. We look forward to seeing how this year’s Student Council leads with confidence and heart, making 2025–26 a year to remember.
